Live from Tel Aviv as US, Israel launch joint military operations against Iran

Live from Tel Aviv on Saturday February 28 as the United States and Israel announced joint strikes against Iran.

Israel has declared a nationwide state of emergency, suspending all non-essential educational activities, public gathering and workplaces in anticipation of potential Iranian retaliation.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said the United States and Israel have launched a joint operation to counter what he described as 'existential threats' posed by Iran's nuclear and missile programs, with coordinated strikes currently targeting sites across Iran.

The strikes come amid US-Iran diplomatic talks aimed at limiting Iran's nuclear program and preventing further escalation. Negotiations were scheduled to resume next week.
