NASA and SpaceX launch the Crew-12 mission to the International Space Station (ISS) from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station on Friday, February 13.
Crew-12 includes NASA astronauts Jessica Meir and Jack Hathaway, European Space Agency (ESA) astronaut Sophie Adenot, and Roscosmos cosmonaut Andrey Fedyaev. The crew blast off with SpaceX’s Falcon 9 rocket and the Crew Dragon capsule 'Freedom'.
They are set to remain aboard the ISS for an extended mission of approximately nine months, longer than the typical six-month rotation.
This marks the 12th crew rotation mission with SpaceX and the 13th human spaceflight under NASA’s Commercial Crew Programme.
