The main plenary session of the International Economic Forum for Latin America and the Caribbean 2026, organised by CAF – the Development Bank of Latin America and the Caribbean - takes place in Panama City on Wednesday, January 28.
Heads of state from Brazil, Ecuador, Panama, Colombia, Bolivia, Guatemala, and Jamaica, along with Chile’s president-elect, are expected to deliver speeches.
The high-level forum, running from January 27-30, brings together business leaders, policymakers, and influential figures to discuss the region’s most pressing challenges and explore solutions aimed at promoting economic growth, inclusion, and competitiveness.
