Live from Aleppo in northern Syria on Thursday, January 8, as clashes continue following the government’s declaration of a 'closed military zone' in some areas.

Those parts controlled by the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) have seen several days of clashes with forces loyal to Syria’s interim government, prompting residents to move towards government-held areas.

Local media reported a new 'safe time window' for evacuation from 10:00 am to 1:00 am local time (0700 to 1000 GMT).

Both sides have blamed each other for deaths and injuries over the past days.
