Qatar marks New Year’s Eve with a spectacular fireworks display at Lusail Boulevard on Wednesday, December 31.
The celebrations take place along the central promenade in the city of Lusail, north of Doha, designed for large-scale public events and national celebrations.
The fireworks and live entertainment regularly draws huge crowds, with around 300,000 in previous years.
In 2025, New Year Lusail's celebrations, Qatar broke a Guinness World Record for most fireworks launched by multirotors/drones in an aerial display.
