Russian President Vladimir Putin arrives for his state visit to India, touching down in New Delhi on Thursday, December 4.
He will meet with Narendra Modi for one-on-one talks and an informal dinner on Thursday night at the PM's residence.
The two will also discuss the strategic partnership between Russia and India - encompassing politics, trade and economics, scientific and technological issues, and cultural and humanitarian co-operation - as well as current international and regional matters.
The talks are expected to result in the adoption of a Joint Statement and the signing of a number of bilateral interdepartmental and commercial agreements.
Putin is also scheduled to have a separate meeting with President of India Droupadi Murmu.
