The UN Security Council meets in New York City to discuss the situation in Ukraine, in a session requested by member states including the United Kingdom and France, on Thursday, November 20.
It comes following President Volodymyr Zelensky’s visit to Europe, where he signed a US LNG import deal in Greece and agreed to purchase of Rafale fighter jets and air-defence systems in France - amid an ongoing $100m corruption row back home.
Kiev also holds talks in Turkey on Wednesday to 'reinvigorate' peace talks, although Moscow said it would 'wait for the results' and had no information about them.
