Live from the Chilean capital as voting continues across the country in the general election to choose a new president and members of Congress on Sunday, November 16.

The election is a three-way race between the Republican Party's Jose Antonio Kast, former Labour minister and Communist Party candidate Jeannette Jara, and former mayor of Providencia Evelyn Matthei.

It marks the end of President Gabriel Boric’s term, with the incumbent barred from immediate re-election under the constitution - although leaders can seek unlimited non-consecutive terms.
