The International Court of Justice (ICJ) announces its decision regarding Israel’s ban on the UN Palestinian Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) and broader restrictions in the occupied territories on Wednesday, October 22.
The case began with hearings in April and addresses whether Israel is legally obligated to co-operate with UNRWA and allow humanitarian aid into Gaza.
Israel’s ban includes the closure of UNRWA offices, schools, and clinics, including in East Jerusalem.
Israel recently announced it would reopen the Rafah crossing and increase humanitarian deliveries following the latest ceasefire.
