The remains of Israeli hostages arrive at the Abu Kabir Forensic Institute in Tel Aviv on Tuesday, October 14, ahead of formal identification.
Officials say the remains were handed over by Hamas to the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), which then transferred them to Israeli forces in Gaza.
According to the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), the bodies were repatriated following a brief ceremony before being transported under police escort to Tel Aviv.
Forensic teams are expected to complete identification procedures in the coming hours.
