'Red Line' demo in Amsterdam over Netherlands-Israel ties

Live from Amsterdam as thousands gather at Museumplein dressed in red on Sunday, October 5, demanding the Netherlands government cut ties with Israel.

Organised by a broad coalition of NGOs and human rights groups, the protest is part of the global 'Red Line' campaign.

Demonstrators are calling for an end to all military, economic, and political co-operation with Israel, and stronger support for Palestinian rights.

Similar protests have erupted worldwide in solidarity with Gaza and the Global Sumud Flotilla, which was intercepted by Israel earlier this week.
