Chilean President Gabriel Boric is set to host the 'Democracy Always' summit on Monday, July 21, at the La Moneda Palace in Santiago, bringing together leaders from Latin America and Spain to strengthen multilateral relations.
The initiative, launched by Brazil and Spain at the 2024 UN General Assembly, aims to build coordinated democratic responses to global challenges.
This in-person meeting, attended by the leaders of Chile, Brazil, Colombia, Uruguay, and Spain, follows a February virtual session and comes on the heels of the 2025 BRICS Summit in Rio and last week’s emergency Hague Group meeting in Bogota on Gaza.
