Live from Damascus on Wednesday, July 16, following Israeli strikes on the Syrian capital.
The IDF confirmed it had hit the Syrian Army headquarters with reports of another explosion in Damascus shortly after the initial attack.
It follows a series of Israeli operations in recent days, including attacks on Syrian security forces in Suwayda.
Israel has stated that it is acting to protect the Druze minority. Violent clashes have been seen between the Druze and Bedouin tribes, with Syrian forces also intervening in Suwayda.
