    German Federal Chancellor Friedrich Merz and NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte hold a joint press conference in Berlin on Wednesday, July 9.

    The media briefing takes place on the occasion of a ceremony marking the 70th anniversary of Germany’s accession to NATO.

    During his visit to Germany, Rutte is also expected to meet with Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul, President of the Bundestag Julia Klockner, as well as members of the Defence Committee.
