New Development Bank (NDB) president Dilma Rousseff holds a press conference on Saturday, July 5, concluding the 10th annual meeting of the bank’s Board of Governors in Rio de Janeiro.
The event brings together senior officials from BRICS countries and other key economies, marking a decade since the bank’s founding in Brazil during the 2014 BRICS Summit.
Held under the theme 'Driving Development: Fostering Innovation, Co-operation, and Impact through a Multilateral Development Bank for the Global South', it highlights the NDB’s expanding role in financing sustainable, inclusive development and co-operation across the Global South.
The meeting comes ahead of the 2025 BRICS Summit, set to take place in Rio de Janeiro from July 6-7.
