    Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and Kyrgyz counterpart Jeenbek Kulubaev held a joint press conference on Sunday, June 29, following negotiations in Cholpon Ata.

    Lavrov travelled to Cholpon Ata to participate in the Meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the CSTO on Saturday. During his visit, the Russian foreign minister held talks with his Kyrgyz counterpart in both one-on-one and extended formats.

    He is also scheduled to meet with the President of Kyrgyzstan, Sadyr Japarov, as well as Kazakhstan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Murat Nurtleu.
