Activists take to the streets of Venice for the 'No Space for Bezos' protest on Saturday, June 28.
It coincides with the three-day, multimillion-dollar wedding of Amazon founder Jeff Bezos and former news anchor Lauren Sanchez.
The protest aims to highlight inequality and demand action over what they see as the neglect of local residents in favour of mass tourism.
Among the wedding guests are big names like Mick Jagger, Ivanka Trump, Oprah Winfrey, Katy Perry, and Leonardo DiCaprio. Bezos has reportedly made three $1m donations to local climate change organisations and asked for gifts to be made to the city instead of wedding presents.
