    The NATO Summit’s Defence Industry Forum opens with remarks by Dutch Defence Minister Ruben Brekelmans in The Hague on Tuesday, June 24.

    The summit is expected to include some 8,500 participants, including 45 heads of state, ministers, delegates, journalists and public forum guests.

    The two-day event is set to centre on NATO’s defence capabilities, future membership, and long-term strategic planning.

    It marks the first time the Netherlands has hosted the summit, and the first led by NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte.
