Wydad AC fans gather in Casablanca for Club World Cup match vs Man City

Live from Casablanca as Wydad AC supporters gather on Wednesday, June 18, to watch their team take on Manchester City in the FIFA Club World Cup group stage.

The match takes place at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, as part of the expanded tournament hosted across the United States.

Wydad, one of Morocco’s most followed clubs, competes in Group G alongside Manchester City, Juventus, and Al Ain.

Manchester City, the current title holders, are among the favourites in the competition, also including PSG, Bayern, Messi’s Inter Miami, and record five-time champions Real Madrid.

Four teams are representing Africa in the new version of the competition. They are Morocco's Wydad AC, Egypt's record 12-time continental champions Al Ahly, South Africa's Mamelodi Sundowns, and Tunisia's Esperance.

This year marks the first 32-team edition of the Club World Cup, running from June 14 to July 13.
