Ecuador holds the presidential inauguration of Daniel Noboa on Saturday, May 25, at the Legislative Palace in Quito.
The ceremony marks the beginning of Noboa's first full term, following his appointment in November 2023 to complete the term of the former President, Guillermo Lasso.
Noboa won the election with 55.8% of the votes, while his rival, Luisa Gonzalez, who received 44.1%, refused to concede and accused him of electoral fraud.
The ceremony will include formal protocol and is expected to attract 93 international delegations and more than 200 distinguished guests. Among the attendees will be Colombian President Gustavo Petro, as well as a US delegation headed by Secretary of Health and Human Services Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
