Live from Mexico City as thousands gather for the 2025 Great Day of the Dead Parade, on Saturday, November 1.
The parade opens Mexico’s Day of the Dead celebrations, one of the country’s most anticipated events honouring deceased loved ones in music and performance.
Over 7,000 people, with catrinas, artists, dance troupes and floats, are set to join the procession, which begins at the Puerta de los Leones in Chapultepec Park and continues to the Zocalo, lasting around three hours.
Last year’s parade drew an estimated 1.3 million spectators. Security and emergency teams are deployed along the route to ensure the safety of participants and visitors throughout the celebration.
